Sioux Falls AWS User Group

I lead the official AWS User Group for Sioux Falls and South Dakota: local builders, real-world AWS stories, and hands-on sessions at Startup Sioux Falls.

I lead the Sioux Falls AWS User Group, the official AWS community for Sioux Falls and South Dakota and a sanctioned member of the AWS Global User Group Program, a network of 400+ groups worldwide.

The goal is simple: build a world-class cloud community right here on the Silicon Prairie. Whether you are creating your first S3 bucket, running a complex enterprise migration, or exploring generative AI on AWS, there is a seat at the table.

What we do

Less slideware, more sharing. Technical sessions with AWS experts, AWS Community Builders, and local builders working through real problems.
Learn by doing. Hands-on labs and architectural whiteboarding.
Room for the “basic” questions. Explore a new service, get a second opinion, or just listen and learn.
Connections beyond the console. Peers across South Dakota who are learning, building, and growing.
